I adore it when I stumble upon amazing companies that make products which make life easier and better. My favorite part is then telling the world how much I love these products. So, without further delay, I present to you P/Y/T Beauty!
P/Y/T Beauty started when Mary and Amy became best friends in college. Well…it actually really began when Mary’s daughter became interested in makeup. Mary had many years of expertise in the natural snack-food industry, and she just wasn’t impressed with the long lists of chemicals in every cosmetic brand she came across. Isododecane? Ethanolamines? What are those?
So she reached out to her BFF Amy, who had a deep background in consumer insights and behavior in beauty. Together, they decided they both wanted something better for their daughters…and their friends…and themselves. It took two years of research and endless trial runs…and P/Y/T Beauty was born.
P/Y/T Beauty has tossed chemicals to the wayside, said goodbye to parabens, phthalates, and petrolatum. They also reject animal cruelty in research and testing and refuse to charge tons of money for lipstick and mascara.
With P/Y/T Beauty what you see is what you get…long-lasting, high-performing makeup that does what it says! It’s Beauty without the BS (bad stuff)™.
I was sent a few products from P/Y/T Beauty and I just adore everything! The packaging is beautiful, sleek and modern. Plus, everything is small enough to be thrown into a purse-who doesn’t love that?
The first item I got to review was P/Y/T Beauty’s No BS Eyeshadow Palette. This palette is basically everything you need to take you from day to night in a snap. It’s hypoallergenic and of course cruelty-free. The palette consists of two-base shades with three matte and three shimmer shadows. The colors give the lids a pretty wash of color. I blend the shimmer shades on top of the matte shades when going for a day to night look. All the shadows blend beautifully and are perfect for every skin tone.
The second item I reviewed from P/Y/T Beauty was the Heart Beat/Cheek Color in Exhale. The blush is buildable letting you go from a hint of color to a more dramatic look. The powder is very soft and the color looks natural with my olive skin tone.
The third and final item I received to review was the Upgrade/Highlighter in Backstage Pass. This highlighter is the real deal and gives me an ethereal glow. The shimmer is subtle enough that I can wear it without feeling that I look like a disco ball. The powder is smooth and makes my skin glow with a dewy, natural finish.
P/Y/T Beauty is quickly becoming one of my favorite beauty brands. The products are well made and reasonably priced and I adore that I don’t have to deal with any BS (Bad stuff, that is…) being absorbed into my skin. If you are looking for hypoallergenic, cruelty-free beauty products I highly recommend checking out P/Y/T Beauty.
