I have always loved to read. There is almost nothing I love more than finding a cozy seat on the floor and curling up with a pile of books and a sweet baby on my lap. My love for reading must be in the genes because each of my girls love the thrill of cracking open a new book. I know this isn’t something that translates well for every child, and that’s where Ready-to-Read books come in!
Now that my littles are starting to become independent readers, I love finding books that aid in their learning and aim to help them improve their skill. Ready-to-Read books have quickly become a fast favorite in our house and a great addition to our over-flowing book shelf.
Ready-to-Read books are leveled according to your reader, so you can be sure to get the book that will help them build confidence in their reading abilities. When your little is cruising through the books at the current “star” level, you can simply move them up to keep the challenge alive so your child feels like a super “star” reader!
The books have non-fiction options that will introduce young readers to stories to spark their interest in history! There are also books with well- known and beloved characters, like Daniel Tiger and PJ Masks, that will keep even the most reluctant reader asking for more.
All Ready-to-Read books have been tried and tested by educational experts to make sure that each level grasps the skills to progress and help young readers find that love for reading and confidence they feel with the success of mastering a book. When my six-year-old opened her level 2 book up she said, “Mommy look! This is a sight word!” She was so excited to see something that she could identify and immediately took off reading the book.
The Ready-to-Read books make life as a parent so much easier. Now we can more easily navigate our children’s “star” level and can help them develop the important reading skills they need for their future.
