Last month I shared about Hood Calorie Countdown. If you didn’t get to read the post you can read it here or read my refresher below.
Hood Calorie Countdown is a milky smooth dairy beverage that is made from a delicious blend of ultra-filtered milk, water cream (and a few other ingredients). This results in a tasty beverage that has 42% fewer calories, 75% less sugar, and 67% fewer carbs than milk. It also provides 25% of your daily value for calcium and 15% of your daily value for vitamin D (based on a 2,000-calorie diet) per cup. Calorie Countdown is available in whole, 2%, fat-free and chocolate-flavored. I also must mention that Calorie Countdown is made with milk from farmers who pledge not to use artificial growth hormones.
Since using Calorie Countdown for over a month now I have noticed a huge change in how I feel and look. I have dropped 5 lbs by increasing my exercise, eating more fruits and vegetables and drinking Calorie Countdown. If this doesn’t convince you how easy a healthy lifestyle can be then I don’t know what will. Substituting Calorie Countdown for milk in many of my recipes has proved to be very successful. I have made broccoli and cheese soup, muffins, scrambled eggs and tons more with no sacrifice to taste at all.
A few of my favorite recipes from the Calorie Countdown website are the broccoli and cheese soup (obviously), the cheese and chicken enchiladas and the blueberry crepes. My kid’s favorite recipe was definitely the blueberry crepes as they love having a special breakfast on the weekend. I really have enjoyed making each of the recipes because they are so easy to make and only call for 10 ingredients or less. Next, up I’d really like to try substituting Calorie Countdown in a favorite cake recipe to see how it comes out. Do you have a recipe you’d like to make using Calorie Countdown? As you can see there are so many ways to incorporate it into your daily life.
The best thing? Is how much my whole family loves Hood Calorie Countdown. In fact, our favorite way to use Calorie Countdown is in smoothies. We love adding frozen fruits, spinach and a cup of Calorie Countdown for a delicious fruit smoothie.
I would also like to mention that my kids absolutely love the Hood Calorie Countdown Chocolate flavor. With 75% less sugar than traditional chocolate milk, I can feel good giving it to them. I also don’t feel guilty having a cup of hot chocolate when using Hood Calorie Countdown because it contains fewer calories, carbs, and sugar than traditional milk.
So take the easy step to healthier living with Hood Calorie Countdown.
