As much as I love candles in fall and winter to help create a warm, homey atmosphere, candles are not a seasonal product for me. I love candles year round. As soon as I have the house tidied up at the end of the day I love to light a candle and settle in. I love the gentle aroma and the calming flicker of light.
If ever there was a time I needed to soothe myself at the end of a long day, it has been this past month. Fortunately for me I’ve had a couple of new candles from Jaded Candle to help me do just that. Between Spring Break, travel, a bathroom remodel, my son’s birthday, my in-laws coming for Easter, and more, things have been a bit crazy around here. I savored the nights when I’ve been able to wind down with a candle before bed.
The two scents that I have are Lavender Cucumber Sage, and Pineapple Sage. A quick perusal of Jaded’s online catalog reveals that all of their candles boast unusual and enticing aromas. While I am a lavender girl by default, I have to confess that the Pineapple Sage was the easy winner for me. Both are subtle and sophisticated aromas. Both are an absolute delight.
All Jaded candles are 100% soy wax with a cotton wick and no colorants. This makes a longer- and cleaner-burning candle for your enjoyment. Jaded candles are hand-made in the USA. You can read more about the history and the process of this small business here.
Although winter is fading, candle season doesn’t have to end. Jaded has many lovely, fresh smelling candles you can enjoy through spring and summer as well. I know I will enjoy mine!
