One of my goals this year is to allow myself more creative time. I’ve been stuck in a work-work-work groove. I have felt a lot of compassion fatigue lately. While I give of myself willingly to mother with my whole self, I do get to a point where I feel that loss of self. That’s when I know it’s time to remember myself.
I was so excited to try out the Pop Shop America DIY subscription kit! Subscription kits are so fun and I just loved the idea of a new creative venture on my doorstep every month. How enticing to not know what I’ll make next!
Open the box for beauty and discovery. The box includes a card that explains what’s inside and the value of the materials. Within the box you’ll find a DIY Kawaii Jewelry Kit, a Japanese Stationery Set, and a gel pen.
Sometimes I find myself in a creative rut. I have my go-to standbys; I also have larger ongoing projects that I could pick up any time I want. However I find that doing something completely out of the ordinary and unexpected refreshes my perspective and opens up new possibilities. With the stationery set I am reminded that I actually really love handwritten notes but I have lost that habit. The jewelry kit reminds me of the importance of whimsy in my life. I also remembered that I haven’t made my own jewelry since college, but that at the time I found it very satisfying.
Pop Shop America promises that no box will ever be the same. Each box contains fun, individual detail.
It’s okay if you aren’t into a DIY subscription kit. Pop Shop America offers many different subscription boxes, just as carefully curated. Check out their beauty box, print box, t-shirt box, jewelry boxes (handmade earrings or handmade jewelry,) or their signature pop box for all things pop culture.
I received this box free of charge for the purpose of this review.
