Whether you are a busy Mom or just work around the clock, From the Farmer Supper Club knows how challenging it can be to find the time to cook. This is why From the Farmer Supper Club was created. I was sent a Family Menu to try via From the Farmer for a week and it was lovely. I received all the ingredients for two separate meals.
The first meal I made was the Moroccan Chicken with Preserved Lemons, Spiced Couscous, and Pita Bread. This recipe was the most time consuming of the two recipes I was sent because of the prep that needed to go into it. The meal consisted of chicken thighs with a spiced couscous with an olive, preserved lemons, tomato, onion, and garlic sauce. Two large rounds of pita bread were sent to go along with the meal. Though the meal had some rather complex flavors my kids absolutely adored it. I was shocked! My husband and I loved the exotic flavors of the sauce and couscous while the chicken thighs were absolutely succulent.
The other recipe we received was Beef and Mushroom Stew with Crispy Smashed Potatoes and Sautéed Veggies with Rustico Ciabatta. This recipe came mostly prepared except for the mushrooms and potatoes. It was a cold day and the stew was the perfect thing to warm us up at the end of the day. The stew was delicious and very filling and I loved how fresh all the ingredients were. The recipe was a cinch to follow and I was able to get our dinner onto the table in 3o minutes which was wonderful.
All of the ingredients we received to cook our meals with was fresh and delicious. I am so glad I gave From the Farmer a try. Next time I will add a few extras to my meal kit delivery such as eggs or some fresh bread for sandwiches throughout the week.
Making a home-cooked meal is a snap thanks to From the Farmer Supper Club. If you are in the Northern Virginia or DC area I highly recommend giving them a try.
