I have always loved Dinosaurs. Something about the strength and the mystery has intrigued me since childhood. I always get excited when my girls come home with stories about the dinosaurs they are learning about in school now. It’s so fun to see them with that same excitement in their eyes that I did!
Learning Resources has done it again with this darling tub ‘o’ Dinosaurs. My girls were over the moon to get them and we have been playing with them non-stop since we opened them up. The Dinosaur Counters are a set of 60, so the play can be shared with friends- or siblings- or they can be spread out and sorted!
There are ten different kinds of Dinosaurs included: Tyrannosaurus Rex, Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Brachiosaurus, Parasaurolophus, Pachycephalosaurus, Spinosaurus, Struthiosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Velociraptor. Each one sports it’s own unique color, so they can be sorted into color groups or split off into meat eaters and plant eaters!
The Dinosaurs promote visual and tactile learning style, and help in developing skills like Matching, Counting, Sorting, Patterning, Addition & Subtraction, Comparison, Object Identification, Imagination, Language development, Fine Motor, and Eye-hand coordination. All skills that are important for littles learning how to be well rounded little smarty pants!
We have loved playing with these colorful dinosaurs; from my 1 year old to my six year old! They are perfect for all ages. Nothing beats playing while learning.
