My littles are getting bigger. This creates so many things on our schedule for me to remember: Soccer Registration is due by Feb. 5th, Big girls have ballet on Mondays and Acrobatics on Wednesdays, my two year old has ballet on Monday too- but in the morning, apply for charter schools by Feb. 3 for this school and March 24 for that school… Sometimes I feel like my brain is mush. I have tried to put reminders in my phone but for whatever reason, the only way for me to keep things straight is to take out a pencil, and write it out on paper.
Thank the Heavens above for Plum Paper. Without my ‘handy dandy notebook’ planner, my brain really would be mush. I can customize everything I need in my planner so everything is categorized the way that I like it. You can even set your daily calendar to have blocks of time- morning, afternoon, evening; or you can have your daily schedule with printed numbers for time blocks; i.e. 8 (2 lines), 9 (2 lines), which is the way I do it so I can stay on time. Which, being honest, seems to be my most challenging task.
I also love the extra tabs and pages you can add to go the extra mile on organization. I’ve added “to-do” lists and extra note pages at the end of every month so I can write everything down that I need. I also added the fitness tab and the meal planning tab so I can stay on track with healthy eating and a fitness regimen. It really helps me to plan everything out so I can stay focused on what I want to accomplish each day, month, and ultimately for the whole year.
If you aren’t a customizable lady, you can also choose from their ‘ready to ship’ planners and get a more generalized planner for yourself. I am in love with the heavy duty printed covers, and now they even include a hard plastic topper for your cover, so you know you’re extra protected. I love the size of the planner because it fits perfectly into my diaper bag or oversized purse easily.
I recommend Plum Paper Planners to everyone! I know there are those out there that think technology has planning all figured out, but there’s something so gratifying about writing down a task on paper, and then being able to physically cross it off when it’s complete.
Give Plum Paper a try! You won’t regret it 🙂
