There is something so special about receiving an invitation in the mail. I enjoy opening the card, the smell of the fresh paper, feeling the embossed details with my fingertips and taking in the beautiful design that you can only get with a paper invitation. The fact that the romance of snail mail is still there despite our world being overly doused in technology makes me so pleased.
Announcements and invites have played a huge part in my life and the life of my family. I so enjoyed sending out simple birth announcements to announce each of my children’s births. Addressing each envelope to family and friends far and near and personalizing the invite with adorable photos of my newborn baby was something I truly loved. Even when my daughter graduated from preschool I sent out some personalized graduation invitations. I have such love and pride for my children and I love to share my love for them by inviting others that love and support them through announcements and invites.
A huge milestone is a child’s first birthday. I sent out first birthday invitations when my daughter turned 1. Another milestone happened a few years ago when my daughter turned eight and was baptized into our church. Baptism invitations were sent out to many members in our congregation, family and close friends to invite them to take part in her special day.
When I am looking for unique and beautiful announcements and invites I turn to Basic Invite. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card. Unlike many other invitation companies, Basic Invite has over 180 different color options available to choose from to personalize down to the smallest detail. Basic Invite also allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before placing their final order. Having the actual invite in hand shows you exactly how the invitation will look and feel.
I am a sucker for colored envelopes and Basic Invite has over 40 different envelope colors. My favorite feature of their envelopes? No need to lick them! All of Basic Invites envelopes are peel and seal.
