After a bad reaction from a serum that promised all sorts of goodness and produced nothing but irritation, I swore off anything with the word serum for well over a decade. For good measure I also steered clear of anything that promised to be a skincare panacea. But when Annmarie Gianni Skin Care offered me a Wild Fruit Serum sample for review I didn’t hesitate. I am very familiar with the other products from Annmarie Gianni Skin Care and I have found them to be very gentle and nourishing. I have yet to find one I don’t love.
After my skin greedily absorbed the first application of the Wild Fruit Serum I had the passing thought that for the sake of science I should use the serum only on one side of my face. It was only briefly that I considered it; in the end I concluded that something so wonderful should be shared. I’m so glad I did. Surely I’d have been able to demonstrate a difference, but I would have felt funny with one side of my face significantly healthier than the other.
Here’s what I can’t show you: my skin is healthily hydrated, not oily, not greasy, not wet, just healthy. The oily parts are less oily, the dry parts are considerably less prone to drying out. As for tone and texture of my skin: there was an overall improvement in all categories. The concentrated dose of fruit, herb, and plant cell extracts works to brighten my skin tone, and surely that’s true, but it’s also fading the burst capillaries and the sun spots. It’s amazing! I love it!
Of course, since it’s from Annmarie Gianni Skin Care, it smells freshly like the plants from which it originates. It’s good for all skin types. It strikes the balance between being sensitive to the skin but also very effective. You will not want to be without this little piece of magic.
I received a sample of this product free of charge for the purpose of this review.
