So, two weeks ago I went to the hospital and came home a few days later as a mother to FOUR beautiful children. Four… FOUR?! By the way, my oldest is five so I’m basically a walking zombie. The trickiest part so far has been trying to figure out how to keep everyone happy at the same time, which I’ve discovered, is nearly impossible. If I put Baby Brother down to make some peanut butter sandwiches, he screams. If I hold Baby Brother instead of making said peanut butter sandwiches, the girls are screaming and angry. SO to figure out both… I needed a way to hold the baby and make the sandwiches without anyone losing their mind, including me.
I discovered Happy! Baby Wrap and thought that “babywearing” might be the answer to the cries from the army of small children now living in my household. I have a few friends that are avid babywearing Mommas that inspired me to give it a try and I am so glad I did! Babywearing is a brilliant way to manage life with a newborn. I’m not gonna lie… I am not one of those moms that loves and adores the newborn phase. I’m more the mom that waits it out patiently until that little blob of helpless love becomes a human. Having a newborn is extremely hard and stressful for me because they always want to be held, understandably so since they did just come from inside my warm body. But Momma needs a break now and again! Wearing my newborn keeps him close to my chest and Happy while keeping me hands free to make peanut butter sandwiches.
Happy! Baby Wrap is a small family business striving to create a quality product for today’s active parent because Heaven knows I’m not the only Mommy out there that has to make peanut butter sandwiches while holding a newborn. Happy! knows that wearing your baby close to your chest keeps that bond strong and allows you to discover all the benefits that come along with wearing baby. All the Happy! Baby Wraps are made from organic bamboo keeping them super soft and lightweight. I was pleasantly surprised that I haven’t felt overheated at all wearing my wrap. I chose the new Marled Grey Wrap which I love because it goes with everything I wear, but there are eight other colors to choose from to appeal to everyone. The wrap can support babies up to 25 lbs. and I love that there aren’t any rings or buckles to worry about breaking or pinching my baby’s skin. One of the best parts: it’s machine washable! So you can be sure it’s always clean and ready to go. Now you just have to remember to wash it 🙂
