After living 32 years on this earth I can now proudly stand up and say that I have officially had the best cookies and brownies I have ever tasted in my life. IN MY LIFE.
I honestly LOVE reviewing products especially when I come across items that absolutely take me by surprise. These products come from a company that began with an idea and blossomed into a beautiful, delicious reality. That beautiful, delicious reality goes by the name of Salt of the Earth Bakery.
Salt of the Earth Bakery began when Alexandra started baking cookies to keep her husband motivated while her husband was studying to take the bar exam. Alexandra has been making her homemade cookies since she was a child and she knew her husband adored them. After a lay off from her job and a few booths at local markets “The Cookie” was born. All of Alexandra’s ‘Salt of the Earth’ goods are made completely from scratch via her top secret recipes. Each cookie and brownie is sprinkled with a different kind of salt to enhance the overall taste of the brownie or cookie.

To explain what you experience when taking a bite of a Salt of the Earth Brownie or Cookie….the best word I could come up with is heaven…you will experience heaven in your mouth. When I was in NYC last month I was lucky enough to get to try ‘The Cookie’ at Balducci’s in Midtown. It was LOVE at first bite and I knew I just HAD to try more of their products. Salt of the Earth Bakery kindly let me try all of their variety of cookies and brownies and let me tell you they did not disappoint. The cookies are buttery, soft, chewy and loaded with delicious add in’s (while all topped with salty goodness). I would have to say that if I had to choose a favorite cookie it would be a toss up between The Cookie, The Good & Evil and The Wild Oat. The brownies are sweet, insanely fudgy and absolutely delicious (while also topped with salty goodness). My favorite brownies would have to be The Mayan (Sofi Award Finalist), The Brownie and The OMGCB. All of the products come beautifully packaged and labeled (with super fun names) in brightly colored boxes (perfect for gift giving). I honestly can’t recommend these products enough. They are one of my all time favorite food products I have reviewed in the past seven years here at Cherry Blossoms The Blog. So if you are looking for a delectable treat, gift or you just want to see if they are as good as I say they are (believe me, they are THAT good). Head over to Salt of the Earth and place an order or two. I promise they will NOT disappoint!
I received these products free of charge for the purpose of this review.
This has in no way affected my opinion.
