Though we aren’t planning on going too far this summer we do have a small trip planned that we are pretty excited for. I have learned the hard way that when you travel with kids you MUST be organized. It saves your sanity in case something bogus happens like a child getting sick, a bag going missing, etc. I still have a trip to New Jersey engraved in my mind because it was so awful. My poor daughter came down with the ROTA Virus and was violently ill-I couldn’t find a change of clothes and had to run into the nearest store and purchase a rather expensive outfit (only to have her get sick on it). I never want to relive that trip again.
In the past I have relied rather heavily on plastic bags to organize my children’s belongings. Thankfully, I am much more eco-friendly now so I knew I had to find something that I could
reuse over and over in place of the plastic bags. This is where Evatex Travel Packing Cubes
come into play. The packing cubes come four to a pack (in four different sizes) and include an extra bag for your shoes or dirty clothing. Each cube has a handle, zipper and mesh screen (to let your clothing breathe). I have been able to use these cubes to separate underwear and socks, t-shirts, pants, and more. I love that the cubes have a mesh screen letting me easily see what is in each cube. It is really easy to keep track of all of my children’s items with these packing cubes. My children especially love the ability that they have to find pieces of clothing on their own. They also love to help me pack and put items in each cube. I am definitely thinking about purchasing another two or three packs so that we each have a set of cubes when we travel. The cubes store easily by fitting into each other and are lightweight and made very well. I highly recommend them if you plan on taking a trip anytime soon!
