I was sent a copy of VeggieTales ‘The Penniless Princess’ to review. The Penniless Princess revolves around the main character Sarah Crew. Sarah is very blessed-she has everything a little girl could want-a closet full of beautiful dresses, an amazing family, and lots of fun friends. Unfortunately her life is drastically changed when she goes from riches to rags-in my five year old daughter’s words; “Sarah has to go live with a step-mother at school who was very mean.” Sarah soon learns that life isn’t about the material things but about what is in her heart and how putting her faith in God will only strengthen her testimony of him. The Penniless Princess features lots of fun music including an ALL NEW Silly Song ‘Best Friends Forever. The title song ‘No Matter What’ helps to teach children the important lesson that you should trust in God no matter what happens in life.Other bonus feature include a special tour of London with the popular French Peas characters, a hilarious look at the history of the Teddy Bear, a discussion guide for parents, and behind-the-scenes clip.
