Both of my children have extremely sensitive skin. My daughter’s skin has gotten less sensitive over the years but my son is constantly itching. I try to do my best to find products that won’t irritate my children’s skin however they are hard to come by. I was thrilled when I found out that SoCozy was making a line of haircare products specially formulated with sensitive skin and scalp in mind. The new line of products is called Hush and each item is dermatologist tested to treat sensitive hair.
Raising kids is hard, taking care of their hair shouldn’t be. For Cozy Friedman, it’s always been about identifying problems and solving them. And so, began her journey. What started with an innovative idea to open a salon just for kids, has grown into the nationally-recognized SoCozy brand of salon-quality hair care products developed specifically for kids’.
Cozy’s always celebrated kids being kids, and embraced the realness of being a parent. Thus, each of her endeavors—from her first salon to bestselling book, Cozy’s Complete Guide to Girls’ Hair, to every bottle of shampoo, detangler, or styler—began with the same formula: listening, researching, committing to excellence, and creating something that makes life with kids easier. Today, SoCozy can be found at Target, CVS, and Walgreens amongst others. Plus, Cozy’s advice and how-to videos on SoCozy.com and SoCozy’s social channels provide helpful, interactive content addressing everything from mastering braids, to keeping lice at bay.
(And yes, that’s her real name.)
As soon as I found out about the The Hush Collection by SoCozy I ran out to my nearest Target. Here is a tip; look for the Hush products in the infant/toddler shampoo/bath section. The collection includes Hush Sensitive Serum, Hush Sensitive Foam, Hush Sensitive 2in1, and Hush Sensitive Detangler.
The Hush Sensitive 2in1 Soothing Shampoo and Conditioner comes with a soft massaging brush which I love. My son battled severe cradle cap and oh how I wish I had this when he was a baby. The massaging brush helps to lift away dirt, flakes and oil, and supports to increase micro-circulation and oxygen to the root. Whenever my children complain about an itchy scalp I know I can use the Sensitive Serum. The Serum is no-greasy and doesn’t leave my children’s hair oily. The Hush Sensitive Foam is lightweight yet still provides enough hold. It also doesn’t leave behind residue or stiffness. The Hush Sensitive Detangler is wonderful for my daughter who has long hair. This spray detangles and smooths while nourishing and adding moisture to the hair. None of the products will aggravate a sensitive scalp or skin.
I am grateful that SoCozy has made their amazing salon-quality hair products for kids. I love the smell, look and design of their products. As a Mom I love that each and every SoCozy product can be used in multiple ways allowing for quick bathing before your child is onto their next activity. Most of all I love that parents now have these amazing hair products to use on their children and babies. SoCozy never contains Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Synthetic Color, or Propylene Glycol. Plus they are free of Gluten, Wheat, Peanuts and Tree Nuts. SoCozy cares about kids and you can see and feel it when using their products.
